Personal: Selected by the Rockies in the 18th round of the 2021 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Charlotte (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)...in 2021, was on Conference USA’s First Team...made 16 appearances starting 15 of them getting a victory opening weekend with four frames of one-hit action with seven strikeouts during a 4-2 win over Morehead State on February 21st...moved to 2-0 a week later with another one-hitter, this one over six innings with eight strikeouts during a 4-0 shutout win...struck out new career high nine vs. Western Carolina on March 6th and ended with 10 twice later in the year...tossed 80 innings on the year with seven wins to go along with 99 strikeouts... in 2020, started all four series-openers for the Niners before the season was cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic...ended the year 2-2 with a 5.57 ERA and 22 strikeouts over 21 innings tossed...in 2019, made 15 ap- pearances with 12 starts in his freshman campaign...made his collegiate debut with two innings of relief to earn the win against Delaware in game two on February 15th...played at Cary HS near Raleigh posting a 2.60 ERA in 34.1 innings of work...struck out 47 in those 34.1 innings with an opponents average of .185...earned first team all-conference honors in his senior year...parents are Brian and Pam...has one brother, Dylan and one sister, Syd- ney...loves to also play golf and basketball.
