2022: Enters first professional season with the Colorado Rockies organi - zation...listed as the Rockies #11 overall prospect. 2021: Selected by the Rockies in the 2nd round of the 2021 MLB June Amateur Draft out of LSU (Louisiana State University)...suffered a torn ulnar collateral liga - ment in his right elbow that required Tommy John Surgery in April of 2021...was ruled

out for the remainder of the season and is still currently recovering from the injury. Personal: Prior to his 2021 injury, Hill went 2-3 with a 6.67 ERA over seven starts...struck out 25 batters in 29.2 innings...healthy 2020 season before the pandemic ended the year... threw 11.2 frames out of the bullpen...was named a preseason All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper...in 2019, his freshman year at LSU, Hill made two starts before undergoing surgery on his collarbone, forcing him to miss the rest of the season...in his first collegiate start, was named SEC Fresh - man of the Week after five scoreless frames with eight strikeouts against Air Force...was drafted initially out of high school by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 38th round of the 2018 draft, but did not sign as he was headed to LSU...attended Ashdown HS in Ashdown, Arkansas where he was a two-sport athlete in baseball and football... his senior year of high school, he went 7-0 with a 0.51 ERA and batted .540 with 11 homers to earn the Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year...in July of 2017, he was invited to play in the Under Armour All-American Game at Wrigley Field...he was scouted by a couple of mid-major programs as a pro-style quarterback...operated in the upper 90s as a reliever in 2020 and has flashed the ability to deal at 95-97 mph with a peak of 99 as a starter... has possessed a plus changeup since his high school days and it arrives in the mid-80s with a lot of tumble... has shown signs of transforming a slurvy breaking ball into a nasty mid-80s slider that can be a plus offering at its best...despite starting for the majority of his career, could be a more effective as a reliever long term...health could also help be a factor of why he would make a good reliever.

2021: Split the season between DSL Colorado and ACL Rockies (both rookie ball)...started season with DSL Colorado, going 2-0 with a robust 0.68 ERA...that ERA was the second-best in DSL Rockies history behind Jeffri Ocando’s mark (0.39) in 2016...allowed just 11 hits and two earned runs over 26.2 innings, striking out 34...his performance earned him a spot with the ACL Rockies, where he finished the season...despite allowing a pair of homers, he showed tremendous stuff and command...in his first full season, fin - ished 2-1 over 10 games (eight starts) with a 2.21 ERA...in 36.2 innings, only walked seven and fanned 47 batters. 2020: Did not play due to cancellation of the Minor League Season. Personal: Signed with the Rockies on July 12th, 2019...only 18 years old with tons of upside as both a starter and long reliever...born June 19th, 2003 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
