2021: Had an appendectomy in spring training...stomach issues resulted in an intense infection and more surgery...was hospitalized for a few weeks and didn’t touch a ball until some point in extended spring training...started the season in August with the ACL Rockies, appearing in eight games (five starts)...went 3-1 with a 5.11 ERA, striking out 28 over 24.2 innings...went five innings, striking out five on August 21 at Diamond - backs...in three September outings, Castillo struck out 11 in 10.2 innings to go with a 1.69 ERA. 2020: Did not play due to cancellation of the Minor League Season. 2019: Spent entire year at DSL Colorado, starting 11 games...went 2-7 with a 3.61 ERA...struck out 48 over 52.1 innings. 2018: Spent entire year at DSL Rockies, appearing in 13 games (10 starts)...went 1-3 with a 4.87 ERA...punched out 38 over 44.1 innings. Personal: Signed with the Rockies on July 2nd, 2017...at instructional ball, showed a 93-97 MPH fastball, a slider that showed more depth than tilt and a changeup in the high-80s...shows little emotion on mound and lots of ag- gression with his pitches according to Chris Forbes (Rockies player development).

2022: Enters fifth professional season with the Colorado Rockies organi - zation. 2021: Spent the entire season with ACL Rockies (rookie ball), appearing 10 times as a reliever...earned one save and has a 4.82 ERA...walks were a little high, but again, did not allow a homer...over three seasons, gave up one clout. 2020: Did not play due to cancellation of the Minor League Season...suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow that required surgery in January. 2019: Spent second straight year with the Boise Hawks, appearing 27 times out of the bullpen... went 5-1 with a 3.43 ERA over career-high 39.1 frames...allowed one homers and 15 earned runs while fanning 39...showed outstanding numbers in second professional season. 2018: Spent pro season with the Boise Hawks, appearing in 14 games, all out of the bullpen...threw 14 in- nings, earning a 4.50 ERA...allowed seven runs (all earned) on 17 hits and 11 walks while striking out eight...did not allow a homer.
