CARTER BIDDY Q: What is your favorite part about being involved with agriculture? My favorite part is probably raising an animal and watching them grow into a mature market project. I like the competition at fair and the chance to show how well
my animal works for me. I enjoy being at fair with lots of my friends. Q: Why is it important to be involved in your community? It is important to be involved in your community because you can build it up and make it better. Being able to contribute to making it a happy place to live. I have done many things through my 4-H Club like volunteering to serve at luncheons, making Valentines for Veterans. We have collected for food and coat drives. It makes me feel good to support my community by giving back whenever I can. Q: What advice would you give to another student who wants to get involved with agriculture?
My advice would be do what ever interests you. 4-H has many ways to get involved with agriculture. Find the project that you like best and just know that you’ll have to work hard but it pays off.
